Do you see people in person or virtually?
Dr. Coppedge is currently seeing virtual patients only. She is licensed in Illinois and therefore can only see patients who are located in-state.
Appointments are available Monday – Wednesday from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m., Thursday from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Friday from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. (central time).
Do I have to be comfortable with everything on your website?
Absolutely not! There is a common saying in the kink community that states, “Your kink Is not my kink, but your kink Is okay” (often shortened to YKINMK). We follow this principle. We will affirm your identities and any sexual interests/activities you would like to explore or discuss — but we will never attempt to push anything on you that you do not feel comfortable with.
Can you provide medication management without therapy?
Research shows time and time again that combination therapy (medication and therapy) is more beneficial than either medication or therapy alone. There are very few people in the country who are qualified to prescribe medication and provide sex therapy, and we believe in providing the very best treatment for you. Medication is optional because not everyone may benefit from medication to treat sexual issues, but everyone could benefit from talking about them!
If you are already in sex therapy, then we can provide medication management independently, in collaboration with your therapist.
